AI Governance & Strategic Transformation

AI Governance for Business Transformation

Helping organisations adopt Artificial Intelligence through strategic planning, governance and responsible implementation.

About

Advisory before implementation

Hyrule Advisory is a boutique advisory firm working with boards, founders and management teams on the adoption of Artificial Intelligence.

Most organisations begin with the tool. We begin with the decision behind it — what the business is trying to change, who is accountable for it, and what has to be true before any system goes live.

AI transformation is rarely a technology problem. It is a question of aligning business objectives, governance, people, processes and implementation so that the technology chosen is the right one, deployed for the right reason, under conditions the organisation can stand behind.

We work on a small number of engagements at a time, directly with the people accountable for the outcome.

Services

Three pillars, one roadmap

Strategy, governance and capital are treated as a single transformation agenda rather than separate workstreams — because in practice, a decision in one determines what is possible in the others.

Strategy

AI Strategy & Transformation

Clarity on where AI creates genuine commercial value in your business — and where it does not — before capital and management attention are committed.

  • Identification of high-value AI opportunities
  • Evaluation and screening of AI use cases
  • Business process redesign
  • Initiative prioritisation and sequencing
  • Transformation roadmaps
  • Organisational productivity improvement

Governance

AI Governance & Legal Coordination

The oversight layer that makes AI adoption defensible: clear ownership, documented policy, and awareness of the legal and regulatory obligations the organisation is taking on.

  • Governance frameworks and decision rights
  • Internal AI use policies and controls
  • Contractual considerations with vendors
  • Regulatory awareness and risk mapping
  • Coordination with legal counsel

Where specialist legal advice is required, Hyrule Advisory works alongside experienced legal professionals, including CHP Law, on the governance, contractual and regulatory aspects of a transformation programme. Legal services are provided by the relevant law practice — not by Hyrule Advisory.

Capital

Capital & Strategic Advisory

Transformation has a funding profile. We help management plan the capital side of it alongside the operational side, so the two are not decided in isolation.

  • Investment readiness
  • Fundraising strategy
  • Strategic finance and business growth planning
  • Fund structuring discussions
  • Investor communications

Strategic advisory only. Hyrule Advisory does not offer, distribute or advise on investment products.

Why governance matters

Selecting a tool is the easy part

Many organisations are already experimenting with AI. Very few have a governance framework behind it. The difference shows up later — in accountability, in regulatory exposure, and in whether the investment holds up under scrutiny.

Leadership alignment

Agreement at board and management level on what AI is for, what it is not for, and who owns the outcome.

Governance

Defined decision rights, approval thresholds and review points, so AI decisions are made in a structure rather than ad hoc.

Risk management

Identifying where AI introduces operational, legal, reputational and data risk — and what controls are proportionate.

Responsible deployment

Human oversight, transparency and defensible use, held to a standard the organisation is willing to explain publicly.

Implementation planning

How AI integrates with existing processes, systems and roles — sequenced so operations are not disrupted.

Commercial priorities

Testing each initiative against the commercial case, so effort follows value rather than novelty.

Enterprise Development Grant

Supporting business transformation

Singapore businesses undertaking qualifying transformation projects may be able to explore support under Enterprise Singapore's Enterprise Development Grant (EDG).

Where relevant, we can discuss how a transformation programme might be scoped against the prevailing EDG criteria. It is a consideration in planning — not the reason to undertake the work.

What to know before you plan around it

  • Eligibility, scope and approval are determined by Enterprise Singapore, not by Hyrule Advisory.
  • Criteria and supported cost categories change from time to time; the prevailing rules at the point of application apply.
  • Applications are assessed on the merits of the project, and outcomes are not guaranteed.

Hyrule Advisory makes no representation as to grant eligibility, funding quantum or approval, and does not hold itself out as an accredited or pre-approved consultant under any government scheme. Please refer to Enterprise Singapore for current criteria.
